White Pick-Up Truck and Red Pick-Up Truck Driving Slowly

Deputies with the Special Assignment Team (SAT) were patrolling the Canyon Country area, when they observed a white pick-up truck and red pick-up truck driving slowly through the area in the early morning hours. The vehicles did not adhere to vehicle code, nor the speed limit.  
As deputies approached the vehicle, they observed the white pick-up truck came to a complete stop just a few feet from the red pick-up truck. The deputies ordered the white pick-up truck to stay put and not move.  
Deputies contacted the driver and passenger of the red pick-up truck and discovered the driver was driving a vehicle without a driver’s license.  Upon contacting the males, they saw the handle of a firearm sticking out of a backpack. The suspects were both detained pending an investigation.
During a search of the red pick-up truck deputies located the following: A loaded firearm, 17 round magazine with 16 live rounds, a scale, multiple narcotics, multiple pills, multiple drug paraphernalia, and a taser.  
The driver and passenger were arrested for several weapons charges, narcotics charges (sales), and outstanding warrant.  
Additionally, the driver and passenger of the white pick-up truck were detained following the investigation.  
During a search of the vehicle deputies located the following: drug paraphernalia and narcotics.  
The male driver and female passenger were charged for multiple narcotic charges and outstanding warrant.  
Two males remain in custody at this time, the other male and female were booked into SCV Station and later released on citation to appear in court at later date.
