On Friday, Feb. 21, former West Ranch High School standout Jackson Banuelos’ current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the BYU Cougars.

The game took place at Robert J. Hiegert Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Robert J. Hiegert Field against BYU Cougars.
