On Thursday, Feb. 6, former West Ranch High School standout Christos Stefanos’ current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.
The game took place at Scolinos Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Broncos this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Scolinos Baseball Field against Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former Northwest Los Angeles County area high school athletes will be active in competitions the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
