With another hot weekend ahead, a quick dip to cool down sounds like a good idea, but we’d like to remind you to practice water safety with these tips:
*Never leave a child unattended in or around water
*Make sure your child has the proper fitted life jacket/floatees if going for a swim
*Have CPR instructions nearby
*Always call 9-1-1 in emergent situations
Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for young children ages 1-4, so always remain vigilant.
