#WhileYouWereSleeping….deputies with the Special Assignment Team were patrolling Saugus when they observed a vehicle not adhering to vehicle code.

Upon speaking with the male driver, deputies learned he did not have a valid driver’s license. Records indicated the male also had an active outstanding warrant for his arrest.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a plastic bag containing a large amount of methamphetamine and contraband used for sales of the narcotics, as well as drug paraphernalia.

The male was ultimately arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales and possession of drug paraphernalia, alongside his warrant. He was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody at this time.
