Vehicle in Violation of Several Vehicle Codes

Deputies with the Summer Team were patrolling Newhall when they observed a vehicle in violation of several vehicle codes. During a traffic stop, deputies were speaking with the female driver when they learned of firearms in her possession. 

A search of the female resulted in the recovery of a loaded firearm. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a rifle, a stun gun baton, an abundance of ammunition, 

among other items of contraband. 

The female was ultimately arrested for several weapons charges, including carrying a loaded firearm in public and concealed firearm in a vehicle. She was booked into the station and remains in custody at the time of this post.
