Under the Influence of Narcotics

0Comments
Deputies patrolling Stevenson Ranch observed a vehicle not adhering to vehicle code. During a traffic stop, deputies contacted the occupants of the vehicle and observed the passenger to show signs and symptoms similar to someone under the influence of narcotics. Field sobriety tests confirmed the male was under the influence of multiple narcotics.
The male first provided a name, later determined to be fictitious. Once deputies obtained his true name, records indicated the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
A search of the passenger compartment of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia belonging to the male. He was ultimately arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, false impersonation, and more. He was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody at this time.
