Deputies recently responded to a call for service reporting a female driver, with a male passenger, appearing under the influence in Valencia. Deputies arrived on scene and located the vehicle parked in a parking lot, with a male and female standing by. 

While speaking with the occupants, deputies learned the male had an active outstanding warrant for his arrest. A search of his property resulted in the recovery of a high capacity magazine. A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of an unserialized, semi-automatic handgun loaded with a high capacity magazine. 

The male, who was a convicted felon, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and more.
