Training devotion of the day.

Having a “stay” and other basic obedience is fantastic! But remember that if the pup is reactive, they’ll still be reactive in a stay, sit, down… any mechanical function you’ve placed them in.

You’ve got to change the mindset on how they view the world.

Fear in dogs will usually result in a much higher likelihood of conflict.

While working on your obedience, we strongly urge  everyone to also learn methods to teach your pup how to calm themselves. Learn how to change the very nature of the external stimulus they’re reactive to. Add positive associations and a strong sense of understanding where mistrust and uncertainty dominate.
