Today is #TheGreatShakeOut, known as the world’s largest earthquake drill. Are you prepared for the next big quake?
Prepare: Have an emergency plan ready beforehand. Plan where to meet if you and your family get separated. Have a supply kit that includes food, water, and a flashlight. Secure heavy items in your home.
During an earthquake: Drop! Cover! Hold on!
After: Check yourself to see if you are hurt. Expect aftershocks. If you are in a damaged building, go outside.
Take the time today to learn about earthquake safety and find ways to be prepared.
