As part of Metro's I-5 North County Enhancements Project, the northbound side of Interstate 5 WILL BE CLOSED TONIGHT (January 17) and TOMORROW (January 18) from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. each night/morning. | Public domain pictures
CONSTRUCTION: Median modification work will begin on Bouquet Canyon Road, between Newhall Ranch Road and Espuella Drive, this Friday, January 27. Lane reductions will be in effect in BOTH DIRECTIONS.
Work is anticipated to last for two weeks. During construction times, traffic will NOT be able to use the left turn lanes from Bouquet Canyon Road into the Best Buy or Vons parking lots. Cars will need to U-turn at either Newhall Ranch Road (southbound) or Espuella Drive (northbound) to access those shopping centers.
Lane reductions will be in effect during the following times:Weeknights (8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday nights through Friday mornings)Weekends (8 p.m. Friday nights until 4:30 a.m. Monday mornings)
Please see the graphic for lane closure locations. Note: ONE left turn lane from eastbound Newhall Ranch Road to northbound Bouquet Canyon Road will be closed, as well as one thru lane on Bouquet Canyon Road through the intersection.
