In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, City Hall will be closed Friday | Flickr
Today, Six Flags Magic Mountain hosted a “Sky Tower Challenge” sponsored by loanDepot. Personnel from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, Los Angeles County Fire Department, the City of Santa Clarita and loanDepot competed to see how fast they could run the 385-foot-tall Sky Tower in teams of five.
This race brought together our emergency responders and City staff to create an environment of camaraderie, morale and support. Congratulations to the Los Angeles County Fire Department as they took first place and had an average team time of 2:33. Thank you to all of the competitors who raced, and to loanDepot for their support and sponsorship!
