The County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Works, and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County are hosting a FREE Household Hazardous/E-Waste Collection Drive-Thru Event on Saturday, October 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Val Verde Park located at 30300 Arlington Street in Val Verde.
Residents are encouraged to dispose of their unwanted household hazardous and electronic waste, such as paint, motor oil, pool chemicals, and miscellaneous electronics, for proper disposal.
Needles or sharps (in a sharps container or a sturdy box labeled “sharps”) and unwanted or expired prescriptions may also be disposed of.
