Deputies recently responded to a grand theft just occurred call for service. It was reported a male had stolen copper pipe from a business and fled the location.
Deputies conducted a search of the nearby area and were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle approximately two miles away. During a search of the vehicle, deputies recovered stolen copper pipe, as well as several other items of merchandise valued at over $3,000.
A male was arrested for grand theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. A female contacted in the vehicle was also arrested after found in possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were booked into the station. The female was later released on citation, while the male remains in custody at this time.
