Amid brush fire evacuations and normal patrol operations taking place within the Santa Clarita Valley, crime doesn’t stop! Deputies with the Crime Impact Team served a search warrant in the 18000 block of Grace Lane in Canyon Country, resulting in the arrest of a convicted felon in possession of firearms and nearly a pound of methamphetamines. Firearms seized included a US Carbine rifle and a 9mm "ghost gun.”
The suspect was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s station on multiple narcotics and weapons charges and remains in custody at this time.
