On August 18th, the Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley (SIGSCV) partnered with the YAL to launch their enhanced Go Girls Program. The program is designed to empower young ladies and help them grow into successful women through experiential learning. The first workshop on Sisterhood was attended by Lindsay Schlick, who gave an empowering talk about the importance of supporting other women.
The girls then enjoyed sandwiches donated by Jersey Mikes before swimming for the rest of the afternoon. We hope that this program will help young girls grow into confident and successful adults. Thank you to all who made this event possible!
