During a crime suppression operation in the City of Santa Clarita, led by the Crime Prevention Unit, a sergeant observed two vehicles engaging in a speed contest on Railroad Avenue. One vehicle, a Dodge Charger, was observed driving approximately 90mph, well over the 50mph speed limit.
A 20 year old male was arrested for engaging in a speed contest and his vehicle was impounded during a traffic stop. He was booked into the station and remains in custody at the time of this post. As a reminder, slow down. Speeding puts the lives of every driver and pedestrian on the road at risk.
