Active Felony Probation for Previous Incidents of Identity Theft

Deputies with the Crime Impact Team recently conducted a probation compliance check of a male known to be on active felony probation for previous incidents of identity theft.

The male was located residing in a hotel room in Stevenson Ranch. During a search of the room, deputies located numerous altered and forged ID cards, several checks named to miscellaneous persons, among other items.

The male, who had just been placed on probation for an unrelated arrest in June, was arrested for identity theft, forgery and several other charges. He was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody at this time.
