Continues to Encourage Drivers to Slow Down

The SCV Traffic Office continues to encourage drivers to slow down, especially during high traffic. Traffic investigators came across a citation issued by a motor unit in which a mustang was observed driving approximately 116mph in Newhall, well over the 50mph speed limit. During a traffic stop, the male driver was also discovered to be driving on a suspended driver’s license and had no proof of insurance. He was issued quite a lengthy citation.

As a reminder, please slow down! Not only does driving fast put you at risk, but those around you, such as other drivers and pedestrians, at risk as well.
