On June 28, 2022, at 8:10 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of an adult male throwing objects off the roof of the Rite Aid on the 1400 block of South H Street. Deputies responded and attempted to contact the subject using loudspeaker announcements, encouraging the subject to safely come down from the roof. Negotiations lasted over an hour.
