Suspect Identified as Isaiah Harley

On June 25, 2022, at about 5:11 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office North area deputies responded to the Chevron on Stockdale Hwy/I-5 for a male subject who was stabbed, and his vehicle was stolen. The victim was transported to a local hospital. The suspect, identified as Isaiah Harley, fled in the stolen car. Kern County Sheriff’s Office North area deputies located another vehicle Harley had carjacked from the Oakland Police Department jurisdiction in the parking lot of a nearby motel. The suspect was arrested by Fresno County Sheriff’s Office on separate charges.

On June 24, 2022, at 3:38 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a violation of a domestic violence restraining order at on the 400 block of Quantico Avenue. When they arrived, they found the adult male suspect had barricaded himself inside a shed on the property, with his children. The suspect refused to exit, and a SWAT callout was initiated. Eventually, deputies were able to speak to him on the phone. He agreed to exit the shed with his children. He exited holding an object to his head. When it was determined to be a cellular phone, deputies seized the children and took the suspect into custody. The SWAT callout was canceled. Only minor force was used to affect the arrest. The suspect was booked into jail on numerous charges, including violation of a Domestic Violence Restraining Order, child endangerment, a warrant for spousal battery and resisting arrest.

On June 24, 2022, at 5:36 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a stabbing on the 14000 block of Lost Hills Road in Lost Hills, CA. When they arrived, they located the adult male victim with a stab wound. He was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. Deputies learned the adult male suspect went to his ex-girlfriend's apartment. There were two adult men there. The suspect allegedly attempted to stab both men. One adult male was stabbed in the neck by the suspect and the suspect fled to his apartment. The suspect was arrested without incident. He will be booked into jail for several charges, including attempted murder.
