Suspicious Activity

2

A call for service asking a deputy to check the area regarding suspicious activity, leads to the arrest of one….

When the deputy first arrived in the area of Newhall, he found a male adult slumped over the wheel of a parked vehicle.

As he contacted the male, he observed methamphetamine within reach of the male. A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of multiple baggies of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm silencer.

The male was arrested for possession of a firearm silencer, as well as possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station, and subsequently released on citation to later appear in court.

As a reminder, if you see suspicious activity in your neighborhood, always report it to the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station, we will investigate.
