Congratulations to a select group of William S. Hart School District video production students who were recognized for filmed public service announcements submitted for a PSA contest. The contest was hosted in partnership between the William S. Hart School District, SCV Sheriff’s Station and SCV Sheriff’s Foundation.

Alex McArdle and Joaquin Soto, under the guidance of Advisor Wade Williams from Saugus High School created a PSA highlighting student wellness and safety.

Rosita Genero, Octavio Guerrero, Jasmin Smith and Taylor Zierhut, under the guidance of Advisor Dena de Vera from Golden Valley High School created a PSA focused on suicide awareness and prevention.

Thank you to all students who participated in the PSA contest. It’s great to see peers supporting peers by coming together to relay positive messages for our community. Be on the lookout via our social media pages for future postings of the winning PSAs.
