Celebrate the Day of the Children/Day of the books with us! There will be a drum circle, crafts, games, therapy dogs and free books for the whole family! We will be celebrating at the Canyon Country Community Center, located at 18410 Sierra Hwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91351. We will be hosting special guest Joe Cepeda, a world famous illustrator and author, who has illustrated such books as Esperanza Rising, Juan Bobo Goes to Work, Nappy Hair, and Newberry Medal Winner Merci Suarez Changes Gears among many others. He is the President of Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles. We are honored to have him join us!
