The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate John Quaye Quartey II, Quartey for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Steve Mandel on July 18, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Earmarked contributions to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Quartey for Congress has refunded $60,700 total since Feb. 1.
