The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate John Quaye Quartey II, Quartey for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Rush Taggart on Sept. 5, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Earmarked contributions to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Quartey for Congress has refunded $84,700 total since April 1.
