#RouteFire reported in #Castaic at the 5 FWY, north of Lake Hughes Road.
UPDATE 1:00 PM:
#RouteFire still burning at 5,208 acres, 12% containment.
All residential areas lifted at this time!
Old Ridge Route Road is still closed to the public. Residents with identification will be permitted through CHP checkpoints at Templin Highway and Northlake Hills Elementary.
5 FWY partially open in both directions.
Deputy personnel are working closely with Los Angeles County Fire Department and CHP – Newhall to assist with looter suppression and fire watch.
Continue to monitor lacounty.gov/emergency for updates.
