Reports of Gun Shots Fired

Saturday 11/26/22, deputies responded to the Westfield mall on the 24100 block of Valencia Boulevard in Valencia at approximately 6:40pm regarding reports of gun shots fired. As a precaution, the mall was evacuated. Deputies conducted a search of the area and determined there was no immediate threat. 

The incident appears to be an accidental discharge of a firearm, however the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station at 661-260-4000.
