#WhileYouWereSleeping….Deputies with the Summer Team were patrolling Canyon Country when they observed a sole vehicle parked in the shopping center of closed businesses.

While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, deputies learned of possible drug paraphernalia possessed inside the car. A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of drug paraphernalia, several EBT cards not named to the any party, and counterfeit money.

A female passenger, whose property contained most of the contraband, was arrested for identity theft, possession of counterfeit currency and drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the station and later released on bond. The male driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, and subsequently released in the field.
