During a crime suppression operation, deputies with the Summer Team were patrolling Valencia when they identified a vehicle with expired registration. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, they learned a male passenger was in possession of narcotics.

A search of the male, resulted in the recovery of approximately 1.3 ounces of methamphetamine. During a search of a second male, deputies located an access card not named to the male.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of several credit cards, ID cards, and other personal documents not named to any of the parties.

Ultimately, one male was arrested on several identity theft charges and a second male was arrested for transportation of a controlled substance. Both males were booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and remain in custody at this time.
