Just outside Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station, deputies entering onto Golden Valley Road immediately observed a vehicle with expired registration and a reported lost/stolen license plate.
Upon contacting the occupants of the vehicle during a traffic stop, deputies observed a plastic baggie resembling narcotics alongside the driver. A male and female were detained pending a narcotics investigation.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of several containers of fentanyl, methamphetamine and heroin, as well as access cards not named to either party, among other contraband.
A male and female were arrested on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sales and more. They were booked into the station and later released.
