On Saturday, Feb. 15, former William S. Hart High School standout Taj Brar’s current college team, the Biola Eagles, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Point Loma Sea Lions.
The game took place at Carroll B. Land Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Sea Lions this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at Eagles Diamond against Point Loma Sea Lions.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former Northwest Los Angeles County area high school athletes will be active in competitions the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
