On Friday, May 16, former West Ranch High School standout Gianna Lombardi’s current collegiate team the Cal State San Marcos Cougars lost 1-4 against the Western Washington Vikings in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at CSUSM Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Western Washington Vikings in the tournament.

The Cal State San Marcos Cougars’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at CSUSM Softball Field.
