On Friday, Feb. 28, former West Ranch High School standout James Hepp’s current college team, the UCLA Bruins, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

The game took place at Jackie Robinson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Commodores this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium against UConn Huskies.
