COBRA detectives have been investigating a theft that took place at a residence in Canyon Country. The day after a party had taken place at the residence, the homeowner noticed several items were missing. One item in particular were a pair of AirPods. The victim was able to track the air pods to a residence in Canyon Country and provided the information to law enforcement.

COBRA detectives executed a search warrant at the residence and were able to recover the victim’s property, along with a stolen firearm. A suspect was identified at the residence and booked into the station for receiving stolen property and possession of a stolen firearm, later released on bond.

The holidays are fast approaching, as are the holiday parties. If you plan on having a holiday party in your home, always know who you open your home to and be sure to secure any valuable items.
