Illegal Dumping

0Comments

Good morning, we continue to receive reports of illegal dumping within the Santa Clarita Valley. Unauthorized disposal of waste on any public or private property is considered “illegal dumping.”

LA County residents in unincorporated areas of LA County are encouraged to request proper clean-up by calling 1 (888)-8DUMPING (888-838-6746), or through “The Works” app for IPhone and Android.

Residents within the City of Santa Clarita are also encouraged to report dumped items by visiting greensantaclarita.com. This website also offers solutions for getting rid of your bulky items for free.

As a reminder, illegal dumping not only creates safety hazards, but it is a misdemeanor offense and those found in violation will be arrested.
