Driving Without a Valid Driver’s License

Deputies patrolling Canyon Country observed a vehicle in violation of several vehicle codes. During a traffic stop, they identified the male driver to be driving without a valid driver’s license.
A search of the male resulted in the recovery of a switchblade knife in his pocket. A search of his vehicle resulted in the recovery of several baggies of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and contraband similar for use of sales of narcotics.
The male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales, and possession of a switchblade. He was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and later released pending additional investigation.
