Just a reminder, designated disabled person parking always requires up-to-date disabled parking placards displayed on review mirrors, or DMV assigned disabled parking license plates. The expiration date and serial number must be visible as well. Failure to properly display, or keep current, placards could result in citation. 

Fraudulently using a disabled parking placard is means for a misdemeanor with fines exceeding $1,000. SCV deputies, alongside parking enforcement, continue to conduct patrol checks of parking lots, ensuring vehicle code is followed. Those parking in designated parking spots without proper permit will be cited.
