Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Detectives with the Robbery and Assault Team have been investigating a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in which a male suspect brandished and pointed a firearm towards the victim during a verbal argument. The suspect fled prior to deputy arrival. 

After thorough investigation, detectives were able to execute a search warrant at the suspect’s apartment in Canyon Country. The male was successfully apprehended and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. A firearm was also recovered. The suspect was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station, later released on bond.
