Arrested for Several Weapon and Narcotics Charges

#WhileYouWereSleeping….deputies with the Special Assignment Team were patrolling Newhall when they observed two vehicles parked in the wash bay of a closed car wash, late at night. As deputies approached the vehicles, a male identified himself as the owner of one of the vehicles. 

While speaking with the male, deputies observed drug paraphernalia exposed inside the vehicle, and learned the male also possessed a firearm and narcotics inside. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a firearm, ammunition, a large amount of methamphetamine, as well as other narcotics and contraband. 

The male was arrested for several weapon and narcotics charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sales and possession of a controlled substance while carrying a loaded firearm. He was booked into the station and remains in custody at the time of this post.
