Deputies with the Summer Team were patrolling Valencia when they observed a vehicle with expired registration. While talking with the male driver, he appeared very nervous.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located drug paraphernalia, a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine, and a loaded firearm. Further investigation identified the firearm to be stolen.
The male was arrested on several charges, including possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm, concealed firearm in a vehicle and more. He was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody at this time.
